My designs are inspired by the desire to make a client feel amazing and like the most beautiful person in that arena at that given time. I strive to create confidence for a client. When they feel special, then I believe that I have done my job.
Everyone has a budget and I really pride myself on being able to work for anyone, regardless of how much they have to spend on show clothes. I do not aim to be the most extravagant clothing designer or have the most expensive clothes on the market, I want to create something that the client is excited to wear. I love creating clothes that take one or two steps outside the box, jackets that speak to someone and their personality, while being different than anyone else in the arena. I love adding a flare of edge and elegance to each design, being able to marry the two is my biggest accomplishment.
Most of my clients use their clothes for more than one event, my designs tend to be very versatile and classic in the sense that you may see the same jacket being shown in the western pleasure and then showmanship the next day...while looking the part in both classes.
I have been very fortunate to work with some great clients who bring wonderful ideas to the table and allow me to develop those into something they are proud to wear. My clothes are very well constructed; suede, leather, lace, overlay, sequince, large stones, etc are all sewn on, never glued!
I am very happy to do full consultations with each client and help them create their complete look. I work very closely with chap makers, boot companies, hat manufactuers, and custom saddle pad weavers.

I grew up around horses, both sides of my family raised quarter horses and appaloosas along with the occassional paint horse. But the horses are a passion that I share with my grandfather, my fondest memory of us was working with his quarter horse mare, "Pete." She was a beautiful liver chestnut with a star on her forehead.
My grandfather trusted me to do anything with her; I recall being on the side of the road one afternoon, letting her eat grass out of the ditch across from his front yard and she spooked at something. I wasnt really holding on to her because I never really had to. She ran down the road and into town...I was so shocked that I just sat there and cried, I knew that she was gone for ever. Without fail, my grandfather, found "Pete" and brought her home. I will never forget the moment he came back with her, he just handed me the lead rope again and continued letting us hang out in the ditch eating grass... To some, this is just another childhood memory, but for me it is something more. I remember that day as if it were just yesterday. I really miss my grandfather, but with every horse I own and every adventure I take, I know that he is sharing it with me and that he will always let me have the leadrope.
I have been very blessed in the past with horses that have taken care of me and let me accomplish the things I set out to do. I currently own a 2 year old paint gelding by Zips Heaven Sent, out of Imagine Fancy (AQHA daughter of Barpassers Image) a Congress Champion producer. His name is A Match Made N Heaven and will be debuting at the 2009 Reichert Celebration in The Equine Chronicle Color Classic Slot, shown by Tim Gillespie. There is nothing more exciting for me than to see an amazing Western pleasure horse perform with such fluidity and grace in the show pen. For me it is like watching a horse glide through clouds, without a care in the world.
